  2.      The Notepad is a good place to keep all sorts of notes,
  3. whether it be a list of hot sales tips or your company's rules
  4. and regulations.  Instead of having many scraps of paper on your
  5. desk, have the electronic equivalent waiting in Right Hand Man to
  6. be edited, exported to another location, or printed out.  You'll
  7. also be able to search through all your notepads for the
  8. occurrence of particular text.  You can also have the option to
  9. create password-protected, encrypted notepads to guard your
  10. personal data.

  12. File:     The File commands submenu offers options to
  13.           create/manage the list of notepads:
  14.  
  15.      New:      Creates a new notepad (same as pressing the <Ins>
  16.                key).  Once you've given the notepad a name, RHM
  17.                brings you directly into the notepad text window.
  18.                Notepad names have a limit of eight characters and
  19.                are displayed in alphabetical order.

  21.      Open:     Lets you read/edit a notepad.  Same as pressing
  22.                <Enter> on any highlighted notepad entry.  The
  23.                highlighted notepad name is the default.  Select
  24.                the desired notepad name, then press <Enter>.  See
  25.                also View.

  27.      Delete:   Deletes the highlighted notepad.  RHM will ask you
  28.                to confirm the deletion.  You can also use the
  29.                <Del> key.

  31.      Rename:   Changes the name of a notepad.

  33.      Save:     Saves the changes you've made in the notepad
  34.                you're currently editing.
  35.  
  36.      Print:    Prints out the highlighted notepad.

  38.      Export:   Exports a notepad to any application program or
  39.                another module.  When you select Export, the
  40.                contents of the highlighted notepad are saved to
  41.                the export buffer.  Go to the desired destination,
  42.                then use <Ctrl-E> to retrieve the data.

  44.      View:     This command is used to view (but not edit) a
  45.                notepad.  To read a file it is strongly advised
  46.                that you View a notepad rather than use Open.  See
  47.                also Open.

  49.      Exit:     Exits the Notepad module, bringing you to the main
  50.                program opening screen.

  52. Edit:     The Resident Editor option is available when you are
  53.           editing a notepad.  See the Resident Editor section of
  54.           Main Menu Help for more information.

  56. Search:   Allows you to search through all notepads for the
  57.           occurrence of a string of text up to 19 characters in
  58.           length. Select Search, enter the text you want to
  59.           search for, then press <Enter>.  RHM will quickly scan
  60.           each notepad for the text.  When the search is
  61.           completed, RHM will display a list of notepads that
  62.           contain the string.  Highlight the notepad you want and
  63.           go directly into it by pressing <Enter>.

  65. Password: This command allows you to change the password on an
  66.           encrypted notepad.
